Product Owner Job in Abb

You will be in the front line of creating data analytics related services which empower human-machine interactions. There are tens of thousands of ABB Ability Smart Sensors connected, and the number is growing. Sensors and ABB Drives provide data and with help of algorithms give insights on powertrains performance.

You will be part of Motion analytics community working in an international environment, delivering cutting-edge solutions. We leverage software development, machine learning, statistics, signal processing and domain knowledge to find the most suitable solution. We develop services and solutions which are further used by our clients around the world.

Product owner reports to Head of Analytics community / Smart Solutions / Motion Service.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborating with the global product management to set priorities for development and delivering results following fixed release schedule.
• Maintaining product backlog up to date and assigning work to global development teams
• Leading product software architecture design, including cyber security
• Contributing to creation of roadmap for our analytics solutions
• Ensuring good communication and transparency with stakeholders
• Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, by taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background

• B.Sc. or M.Sc., (PhD is a plus) in Computer Science or equivalent. More than 10 years of experience in software development, preferably for data science applications.
• Demonstrated experience executing Agile principles and taking the role of a product owner. Preferably experience of SAFe or similar framework.
• Experience and knowledge at least from one of: Software architecture, cyber security, test automation, data science/engineering, machine learning or MS Azure platform
• Knowledge of frequency converter or electrical motor technologies and their condition monitoring is considered an advantage
• Fluent spoken and written English
