Job Summary


Your responsibilities

  • Executing the data conversion and migration strategy, governance and framework across all of the more than 80 in-scope countries, i.e. ensuring productive data is extracted, mapped, validated and collated on time for meet the project plan together with the Workday service team. Securing the required local resources together with Project Fusion country leads.
  • Leading a team of data analysts to set up tools to handle data mappings, their documentation and communication. Managing the development of programs (for automatic migrations) and instructions (for manual migrations) for execution, execution tracking and migration validation. Proving their effectiveness in rehearsals (Workdays methodology).
  • Assisting the functional teams in resolving data inconsistencies and anomalies, assisting the functional and technical teams in planning data migration steps. Collaborating with the cutover lead for a reliable data conversion/migration plan.
  • Orchestrating all global and local contributors/stakeholders and participating in status meetings during rehearsals and cutover.
  • Establishing the data migration and validation reporting process and providing progress metrics to project management and steering committee.
  • Ensuring auditable documentation of the data migration in the Fusion project context, including audit compliance with internal controls over financial reporting (ICoFR), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other regulations for access to and use of personal data within ABB.

Your background

  • Graduate/post-graduate degree in Business Management, HR, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of work experience and knowledge in several fields of IS Project Management, HR Master Data, HR IS (Human Capital Management Systems, HCM), HR Business Processes in roles at large technological and industrial companies with complex organizations and multi-cultural management.
  • Experience with Workday is favorable.
  • Proven project management experience by having successfully led deployment projects of global scope ideally having been in charge the data migration and ideally in the HR domain with significant aspects of complex IT implementation, organizational transformation and ambitious value creation targets.
  • Extremely structured thinking and strong communication skills to organize a global community of data analysts and business process specialists towards the common solution within the given timelines. Ability to structure and convey complex messages, urgency and insights into meaningful action plans.
  • Leadership with vision and ambition. Passion for quality and speed. Creativity and readiness for innovation to break new ground. Integrity when dealing with highly sensitive data. Can-do attitude. Problem solver. Resilience.
