Job Summary



This is a Sales Specialist role, reporting to the Team Manager in Business Area Motion located in Pune. You will be responsible for sales of products/systems within a designated market in accordance with strategy and building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • Selling LV (Low Voltage) motors to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for business across the territory assigned.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understandings of full offering of products and aligning to provide a solution.
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Preparing and monitoring sales plan on regular basis.
  • Establishing and monitoring sales bids.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensure knowhow sharing and cross collaboration.
  • Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the division.
  • Focusing on Value based selling and managing customer accounts receivables.
  • Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • B.E/ B. Tech in Electrical / Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales of LV motors.
  • Must have sound knowledge of rotating machines.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to develop innovating sales approach based on digital tools.
  • Existing relationships with customers would be an added advantage.
