Senior Digital Platform Engineer - Aws Data Engineering Job in Agivant Technologies

Job Description AWS Cloud Data Engineer with professional experience in implementation of data platforms necessary to process and analyze large and complex datasets by using AWS technologies. Core Responsibilities: Data pipeline and architecture: Build data models and data warehouses to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. Design, implement, and manage highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure data pipelines on AWS. Data processing: Develop and maintain data processing solutions using AWS technologies such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS EMR, AWS Redshift, and AWS Athena. ETL and data integration: Design and build complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs to ingest data from various sources, cleanse and transform the data, and load it into the target systems. Data analysis and reporting: Develop data visualization and reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight. Security and compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Collaboration and communication: Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data models and algorithms for analysis and machine learning. Ensure the security, availability, and reliability of Cloud Data Platform systems. Requirements Bachelor s Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant discipline. 5 to 8 years of relevant technology experience. Deep experience in AWS cloud data development. Experience with Cloud Data technologies such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS EMR, AWS Redshift, and AWS Athena, AWS QuickSight, Data Lake, Data Explorer, Cosmos DB, Spark, and Kafka. Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Java or Python Experience with distributed computing and database systems. Experience with troubleshooting data issues and identifying root cause of performance bottlenecks. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal & written communication and collaboration skills. Customer-focused, react well to changes, work with teams and be able to multitask on multiple products and projects.
