Job Description Azure Cloud Data Engineer with professional experience in implementation of data platforms necessary to process and analyze large and complex datasets by using Azure technologies. Core Responsibilities: Data modeling and architecture: Design and implement data models that are optimized for Azure services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage. ETL and data integration: Build data pipelines that move data from various sources into Azure, transform the data as necessary, and load it into Azure data stores. Data analysis and reporting: Design and build data analysis and reporting solutions on Azure, using tools such as Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, and Excel. Performance tuning and optimization: Monitor and tune the performance of Azure data solutions, ensuring that they meet the required performance and scalability requirements. Security and compliance: Implement security and compliance controls for Azure data solutions, including access controls, encryption, and data masking. Collaboration and communication: Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data models and algorithms for analysis and machine learning. Requirements Bachelor s Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant discipline. 5 to 8 years of relevant technology experience. Deep experience in Azure cloud data development. Experience with Azure Cloud Data technologies such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, Data Explorer, Spark, and Kafka. Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Java or Python Experience with distributed computing and database systems. Experience with troubleshooting data issues and identifying root causes of performance bottlenecks. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal & written communication and collaboration skills. Customer-focused, react well to changes, work with teams and be able to multitask on multiple products and projects.
