Job Summary

Years of Experience - 4 - 8 Years

Major Purpose

To build and manage the strategy for Amagi product / group of products and to work with key stakeholders to ensure effective product implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage product roadmap
  • Understand and manage the P & L of the product
  • Write detailed requirement specs including functional and non-functional aspects of the product; define interfaces, user experience and complete requirements specifications for the product
  • Work across multiple functions in the company (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Traffic / Scheduling, Network Operations, Analytics and Engineering) to evolve business processes around Product Management
  • Be a "customer first" product manager in practice and not only by theory
  • Create training documentation, problem resolution methodologies for ongoing product operations

Key Performance Indicators / Measurable Outcomes

  • Product Readiness go-live readiness of the product, evolution from a conceptualization stage, resolution of product defects, Customer Satisfaction
  • Product Revenue
  • Product Cost Optimization in terms of resources, operations, maintenance

Requirements

Ideal a person should have had the below experiences / possess the below abilities to succeed in this role:

  • Defined and executed large-scale technology-driven products/processes over the last 4+ years
  • Have written software for at least 2+ years, and is abreast with all the latest cloud tools and technologies. Technical knowledge of AWS is an added advantage.
  • Have demonstrated ability to draw insights from customer conversations and translated the same to key product requirements. Conversant with Product management tools like Trello, JIRA, Pivotal Tracker etc.
  • Have demonstrated ability in documenting, tracking and managing large set of requirements and user experience needs using tools like Confluence etc.
  • Have proven people management abilities to work with multiple functional teams
  • Deep passion and appreciation for evolving new business processes
  • Good learning ability to grasp new domains and comfort to understand both depth and breadth across the technology platform (s)
  • Good written and oral communication skills to enable effective coordination and implementation across the organization
  • Educational Qualifications: Degrees don t matter. But good grasp of technology and business matters
