The Productivity Applications team in Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL) is responsible for the expansion of new businesses including the upcoming AWS services, as and when launched for India market such as Amazon's End User Computing (EUC) services (WorkSpaces, AppStream 2.0, and WorkDocs), along with Amazon Connect and other new services to be launched. If you are business savvy, have a technical Business Development (BD) background in collaboration and/or productivity applications, and have an interest in building new B2B/C businesses this role combines the best of both business and technology.

The ideal candidate will have enterprise BD experience in areas such as Virtual Desktop Integration (VDI), Unified Communications, VoIP, CRM/ERP applications, call/contact center and/or the integration of these complex solutions, be a self-starter, and be willing operate both tactically and strategically. As key team member in this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help lead the early market development efforts for this new service, establish the lighthouse customers in India, and then as the business starts to formulate, help drive the growth and shape the future of a service category that will have a significant impact on our customers business.

The ideal candidate will have experience building new businesses for enterprise collaboration applications and/or cloud computing and is a self-starter willing operate both tactically and strategically. This is an exciting opportunity to own the global go-to-market definition and execution of new services prior to launch, and then developing the business during the startup mode of the service, eventually to help it scale up for growth. The role will require whatever it takes to build a successful new business including evangelism, working with early adopters to on board lighthouse customers, advising on key technology and channel partnerships and working with AISPL BD, marketing, and product management to put in place a successful GTM program.

Your responsibilities will include helping to define key market segments in India to target, driving the necessary business and technical relationships with customers and partners to establish new business in those markets, building demand generation programs, and enabling the marketing and BD team to drive the day-to-day interactions with prospects in order to build a successful, long-term business. Youll also work closely with the product/service teams to help them evolve the products/services to ensure product/market fit and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Substantial progressive experience in the enterprise and b2b/c software technology industry preferably in cloud, hosted and managed services.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in selling to all commercial markets including SMB, Mid-Market, and Global 2000 organizations.
Experience in both startup and established technology company environments.
Experience with cloud computing and or related fields (IT, software, etc.).
MBA or equivalent relevant business experience.
Solid negotiation skills, and business and financial acumen
Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are a must.
Strong leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
