Amazon Internet Services Pvt Ltd (AISPL) is seeking a security and compliance solutions architect to work with customers to help them with their security posture, identify gaps in their current implementation, help them to address their security & compliance concerns.

Responsibilities include:
Evangelism Provide thought leadership to customers & tech communities around cloud computing, making the case that workloads are more secure in the cloud. Represent AWS as an industry authority, influencing industry
Expertise Collaborate with AISPL field solutions architects, training, and support teams to help customers and partners learn and propose secure architectures. Become a trusted advisor, affecting policy and security standards for running workloads in Cloud
Innovation Assess broad trends in the industry and propose simple solutions that address evolving customer needs
Content Creation Create reusable assets that remove friction and decrease time to value for customers
Education - Collaborate with AISPL field, engineering, training, and support teams to help customers and partners learn and use AWS services in line with their security & compliance requirements
Insights - Work with AISPL engineering, support, and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to cloud technology roadmaps
Representation: Represent AISPL at trade events by delivering presentations, workshops & hackathons

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in the design, implementation and operation of complex systems
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
A solid understanding of the cloud computing business model
Strong familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, IRDA
Proven experience building security reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios
Working knowledge of operational security implementation and management
Hands on experience deploying or supporting traditional security infrastructure such as WAF, IDS/IPS or SIM tools
Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related discipline, and relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISA/M, CIPP/CIPM/CIPT)
Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect.
Experience working with IT and Security leadership to articulate security and/or compliance strategies and plans
Experience building security strategy for cloud adoption
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, Security Architecture & Automation
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results
