The Product Assurance, Risk & Security (PARS) organization exists to keep our customers and partners safe, protect associates, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Compliance Operations (C-Ops) is the operational arm of the organization. The team partners with worldwide program teams to classify products and ensure Amazons product listings follow regulatory and legal compliance guidelines. C-Ops supports regulatory compliance requirements for Amazons worldwide programs such as Restricted Products, Dangerous Goods, Global Trade Services, Product Assurance, Food Safety and Product Safety. C-Ops has offices across India, China, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Jordan, and Costa Rica and supports compliance related needs for worldwide Amazon marketplaces.
Quality Operations (Q - Ops) is a global team that functions across all programs of PARS. This role is responsible for all budgetary, people development and Quality Operations objectives for Centralized Quality Audit Team. You will be responsible for identifying, driving and tracking strategic initiatives and measuring results at your site by monitoring quality metrics across multiple functions. Responsibilities include managing and leading team of Program Managers / auditors through managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met and building positive employee relations. Lead the team that will build systems that implement standard processes across all Compliance Programs, while having functionality and flexibility to support the marketplaces unique requirements. You will be responsible for delivering and communicating a strategy to your team that focuses on purpose, shared vision and goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

This is a multi-faceted role requiring a breadth of skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Technical (Math, Engineering, Science) Bachelors Degree from an accredited university.
Position requires 12+ years of successful leadership experience in managing large cross-functional teams size of approx 50 members.
Experience of being Manager of Managers / Program Managers.
Demonstrated good knowledge of key business operations and financial metrics.
Provide metrics inputs to various reporting decks; communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders in support of business objectives.
8+ years experience in driving Lean initiatives and/or Technology Projects.
Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques and a great desire to develop ones skills to an advanced level.
You will have proven ability to assess situations and guide teams towards both short-term and long-term systemic changes.
Proven experience in working with large-scale technology systems.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle: feasibility through scoping, requirements definition through specification, launch, and production support.
Basic project management skills include collecting business requirements, reviewing specifications, analyzing cost/benefit of project selection, and communicating results throughout the organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding knowledge of E - Commerce, Process Automation, Statutory Compliance function and features
Masters degree (MBA,).
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Advanced skills in statistical analysis.
