Job Summary

Key duties and responsibilities Individual/You should have fair understanding of SWIFT (MT103, MT202), Internal Transfer, FX transactions. Individual/You Should have knowledge about ABA, Sort Code, BSB, BIC, IBAN, RTGS, NEFT and various global banking codes and cash settlements methods. Individual/You should have prior experience working in Manual Payments/Internet Banking process of various foreign banks/wires environment and able to understand end to end Payment flow. Individual/You should be able to read Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) and identify any missing/incorrect information including different bank formats. Fund related vendor payment Invoice verification, Custody and fund related bank invoice verification and making Payment using different banking portals. Individual/You should be well versed with payments related to subscription and redemption. Individual/You should be able to request for World check on all the parties to whom payment is made globally. Individual/You should be able to communicate with bank involving payments including requesting Fx rate involving payment other than USD. Support any conversion or deconversion from a payment perspective. Liaison with inter departments to ensure all wire instructions and payments are clear accurately within approved timelines. Maintain a thorough and clear understanding of end-to-end process of payment services, including applications like K2 involving processing of approvals, documentation gathering and process reviews. Mailbox monitoring and prioritizing payments based on various currency cut offs. The role involves supporting various global locations with day-to-day Payment s requirement. Answer Client/Local Offices queries by call and email. Ensure all daily processing completed and signed off. Report and escalate regularly on significant issues and blocking points to manager. Qualification and Experience University degree in B. Com or equivalent degree Prior Financial Services industry experience Knowledge of hedge funds and Private Equity will be and added advantage. Hands on experience and knowledge about SWIFT payments. Experience of above 2 years in managing FX/Payment s processing, investigations with fair knowledge. Prior experience in Payments/Banking/Treasury will be an added advantage. Skills Required Strong analytical skills Should have good written and verbal communication skills. Responsible for meeting all client and team deliverables. Ability to navigate proficiently in a Windows environment Strong knowledge of Microsoft excels & word Interpersonal skills - Relationship builder, respectful and resolves problems.
