In this role you will be responsible for leading IP (Intellectual Property) administration activities and case management workstreams for the IP team in India.
You will provide solutions to facilitate efficiency in IP business processes, working closely with case managers, attorneys & data analysts, I/T and financial teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Establishing and communicating metrics and performance to the department.
  • Reviewing and presenting monthly status and performance metrics with direction for correction
  • Leading social media / website monitoring and identifying further analysis and/or data-driven measurements for improving the operation and/or reducing costs.
  • Supporting all IP M&A activities, patent and trademark compliance and management processes, risk assessments, contract and IP matters management.
  • Effective data management / processes of electronic files for records retention, litigation and on-going business operations.
  • Providing administrative, licensing and monetization data to attorneys and business teams
  • Maintaining proficiency with commercial patent databases, internal data systems, reporting systems, and other proprietary databases
  • Becoming proficient in our global IP database system (ANAQUA) and be the ANAQUA Case Manager for the area, providing assistance, guidance and solutions to business partners.

Your background

  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years in an active IP Legal function and have a strong working understanding of IP operations and administration.
  • Must have 3 or more years of experience in corporate business/legal function and have success in understanding and communicating complex issues in an understandable manner with members of the business and legal environments.
  • Must be flexible, self-driven and possess a positive outlook with an innovative and creative spirit.
  • Must be culturally aware and demonstrate communications, actions and values consistent with our progressive, diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Multi-geographic prior work experience highly preferred.
