Job Summary

Job Summary

The main objective is margin improvement for the Company and work around Pricing framework, discounting, competitor price analysis etc
  • Implementation and harmonization of Product Pricing Process
  • Implementation of discounting framework and rate contracts
  • Product cost analysis (Self-manufactured, Traded) & Gross margin analysis
  • Product Pricing (Market basket analysis, competitor bench marking)
  • Key Accounts / Tender / Export / New Product Pricing
  • Price harmonization and roll out of the Price list
  • Commercial terms of business (relationship of pricing with HSN code, custom duty/GST etc)
  • Pricing Analytics (Price elasticity, geographical/regional behavior price, bell curve analysis, discount analysis, Price Volume effect)
  • Monitor pricing conditions and utilise special purchase prices to increase margin and work with sales to implement changes (Market basket analysis)
  • Monitoring the pricing conditions across system (ERP, CRM)
  • Proactively analyze to improve price development, propose actions and follow-up
  • Monitor FX fluctuations and its impact on price
  • Initiate and provide training to improve the pricing culture
  • Responsible for loading local promotions (Campaign, Schemes, Promo Code based product promotion)
  • Understanding of tools like QlikView system for better monitoring, propose actions to sales management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, professional degree in cost & management accounting or an MBA in Finance / Marketing

Experience:

- 4 years Experience in Industry

  • 10-12 years of relevant business experience

Skills/Competencies:

  • Understanding of cost and price
  • Strong business acumen and market analytical skills
  • Manage complexity and drive decision making
  • Strong aptitude for analytics. Experience with advanced excel & ERP
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau / Qlikview / Power BI) is preferred
