Job Summary

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • The Support to Communications Business Partner CropScience (CS) will work closely with the Comms BP CS to drive and implement all strategic and conceptual aspects of communications in South Asia (Scope: India, Bangladesh, Nepal & Sri Lanka)
  • He/she is responsible for planning, strategizing and developing internal communications content and projects to foster employee engagement within the CS organisation
  • He/she will work on identifying relevant content from the CS business and pitch story opportunities in close collaboration with CS Comms BP and the PR agency
  • He/she will support content creation around smallholder farming initiatives
  • He/she will work closely on gathering data points and information for employee townhall meetings and the roll-out of employee initiatives within the CS organisation
  • He/she reports directly to the Communications Business Partner CropScience, South Asia, in the country/country group



YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides strong execution support to CS business organization on all aspects of communications
  • Implements local communication strategies and concepts (including those for smallholder farming projects and sustainability-related initiatives) based on Bayers local and national business requirements
  • Keeps track of plans, content and activities for the CS organisation
  • Translates CS business topics into messages relevant to internal and external target audiences
  • Provides timely and insightful support to CS Comms BP to track the progress made against communications and relevant business goals.



WHO YOU ARE:

  • A university degree, minimum bachelors degree, masters or equivalent would be preferred
  • Fluency in written and spoken English & Hindi is a must in addition to fluency in one or two more local language(s)
  • Passion for communications and a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant professional experience in positions of responsibility in large corporations / PR agencies
  • Degree in Communications or related field highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to identify stories
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Strong in relationship building with relevant external and internal stakeholder groups
  • Expertise in executing impactful delivery of key business strategies
  • High level of agility and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Passion for teamwork as well as ability to coordinate independently
