Skill :- Performance Tuning, Good knowledge of Query tuning, SQL Profiler, Execution Plan, Query Hint, DMV, Wait statistics Working experience of Microsoft SQL Server Database (2008, 2012, 2014) Checking disk spaces, fragmentation, blocking, deadlock and fix it. Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security Further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements Implementing and troubleshooting MS SQL Replication Troubleshooting of stored procedures, triggers, user-defined functions. Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary ( metadata ) Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act Developing, managing and testing backup and recovery plans Capacity planning Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security Commissioning and installing new applications
