Job Description

We are looking for a UI/UX Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality user interfaces that offer great user experiences across various devices. You will be working on a diverse set of projects ranging from small websites to large, complex applications. Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development:

• Develop responsive user interfaces across devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure the development of high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code for both small-scale and large, complex applications.

UI/UX Design Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with designers and product teams to deliver optimal user experiences and visually appealing designs.
• Convert wireframes and mockups into functional, responsive, and pixel-perfect code.

Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Compatibility:

• Ensure that web applications are compatible across different browsers and devices.
• Focus on optimization to ensure fast load times and high performance.

CSS Architecture:

• Work with SCSS on large projects following industry best practices such as ITCSS or SMACSS methodologies.
• Deep understanding of CSS core structure and specificity for efficient styling and maintaining code.

Version Control:

• Manage and maintain code using Git version control, ensuring smooth collaboration and a clear history of changes.

Optimization and Standards Compliance:

• Optimize code to meet W3C standards and ensure web content is accessible and SEO-friendly.
• Challenge conventional practices and continuously improve both design and functionality to meet business needs.

Problem Solving and Continuous Learning:

• Stay at the forefront of the latest trends in UI/UX development, challenging conventional practices to innovate and improve solutions.
• Maintain a strong focus on the usability and overall user experience of all projects.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work independently and as part of a team to deliver quality projects on time.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring that designs and functionalities align with business goals.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong Proficiency in Frontend Technologies:

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with frontend libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap.

Responsive Design:

• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and ability to build mobile-first and cross-device user interfaces.

CSS Methodologies:

• Familiarity with CSS methodologies such as ITCSS or SMACSS.
• Deep understanding of CSS specificity and core principles.

Version Control:

• Must be proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.

UI/UX Best Practices:

• Strong understanding of user experience principles across multiple devices.
• Focus on creating intuitive and high-performing designs.

Organizational Skills:

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Communication Skills:

• Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written).

Nice-to-Have (Plus) Skills

• DRY Principle: Adept at applying the DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) principle in code.
• BEM Methodology: Experience using BEM (Block, Element, Modifier) for standardized naming conventions and CSS architecture.
