Job Summary

We are looking for a self-motivated analytics expert who is capable of building sound frameworks for analysing business problems to understand the fundamentals of the problem and be able to expose any pain points or breakages in the various business processes. He/she would be one of the founding members of the analytics vertical and eventually lead a small team of analysts. The role will require the candidate to dig into data and extract strategic insights for several key business problems, and design the data pipeline and analytics architecture for the product. The candidate will need to approach clients, both new and existing and manage projects end-to-end. This will involve working closely with the marketing, business, finance and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will lead a team of analysts & data science engineers to make sure they are working on the right problem statements in the right way to achieve given business objectives.
  • As an analytics lead, you will build the framework for the products data pipeline & analytics architecture on cloud platforms like AWS & Azure.
  • Pitch for analytical solutions to both new and existing clients, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Ability to conceptualise the best metrics for various problem statements to help business stakeholders achieve their objectives. Must-Haves:
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in analytics.
  • Should be great at SQL, Excel, Python, AWS Analytics, Azure Analytics
  • Should be conversant with designing analytics architecture on cloud.
  • Should have experience in wire-framing dashboards and reports.
  • A First-principles thinker: Has ability to get to the root of problems and come up with logical, practical and effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills : written and verbal.
  • Very strong presentation skills (PPT)
  • Highly proficient in the workings of data technologies such as Hadoop, Teradata, and so forth Nice To Have:
  • Prior experience in the marketing & advertising industry.
  • Experience in modelling and ML for various marketing use cases such as buildin multi media-mix models.
  • A master s degree (Phd preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable for the position.
  • The Head of Analytics must also have a natural ability to make strong, lasting, and meaningful connection with others, which will aid him in the execution of his duties in this highly collaborative role Key Competencies:
