Manager - Security Job in Brigade Enterprises Ltd

Security manager is responsible for managing a team of uniformed security personnel to ensure protection of property, assets and human being inside the premises. He will act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for effective and efficient management of security functions at World Trade Centre, Chennai on 24 x 7 basis. In addition, the Security Manager will oversee the operation of surveillance around the premises including access control and other associated security equipments. He should also be instrumental in analytics and mitigation on risk profile of safety and security arrangement for the property.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform services to assure the safety & protection of company s asset & personnel from injury, theft, pilferage, embezzlement, damage or destruction, trespass, espionage or sabotage.
• Establish & install key controls on security policies, processes and unauthorised access.
• Discover the sources for security breach on periodic basis.
• Evaluate incidents and determine course of action on corrective/ preventive measures. .
• Interface between occupants, visitors and WTC team members for smooth conduct of business operations.
• Train & develop security personnel in security & safety related rules & procedures.
• Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms or intrusion alarms following emergency response procedures.
• Evaluate preparedness of security personnel from internal & external threats.
• Liaison and co-ordinate security operations with public law enforcement, fire and other local administrative agencies.
• Conduct, support and assist in governmental review, internal corporate evaluations or assessments of overall effectiveness of the facilities security process.
• Investigate and resolve issues to maintain higher standard of security operations.
• Communicate security status, updates and actual / potential problems using established protocols.
• Analyse and evaluate security operations to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Adhere and implement instructions from WTC management which are directly/indirectly related to security functions.
• Ensure all security equipment are functional at all times.
• Prepare Monthly Management Report on security functions and present to WTC management on monthly basis.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor Degree with at least 7 years of experience in the similar domain.
• Preference be given to Ex armed force personal with corporate experience
• Age - below 45 years
• Language Known Tamil, Hindi & English
