R&d Software Engineer 4 Job in Broadcom

Job Description:

1. 8 to 12 years experienced on Design, code, configure, test, debug, deploy, document and maintain web service applications using a using Java, Spring, Spring boot, Mysql, JPA, Mybatis.

2. Experience in cloud hosted micro services is must with Kubernetes and Google cloud platform.

3. Strong Design patterns, OOPS, Distributed and micro service architecture knowledge along with strong programming fundamentals.

4. Excellent communication skills; verbal as well as written.

5. Prior experience in working with cross geographical teams a must have.

6. Gathers business requirements, translating that information into detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written or configured, and validating that the proposed applications align with both the architectural design and the business needs.

7. Mentor less experienced developers in advanced concepts.

8. Responsible for troubleshooting and issue analysis, as well as coding, testing and implementing software enhancements.

9. Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum and XP

10. Experience working with apache spark a definite plus.

11. Good to have exposure to language Clojure.

12. Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve.

13. Soft Skills: Being a liaison; bridging the gaps between many different IT and software development teams.
