The Team You ll Work With

Carta is opening its first office in India. You will be the first Strategy & Business Operations hire in India, working with our product and business leaders in the region to drive Carta s strategy, collaboration across teams, innovation, and best-in-class execution. You will partner closely with our India Managing Director on the ground in Bangalore, and report directly to our global Strategy & Business Operations team based in the US.

The Problems You ll Solve

• Build the foundation for Carta s business in India, leveraging the power and depth of Carta s network in the global private markets ecosystem
• Help business leaders make informed strategic and operational decisions by bringing data and deep market understanding to bear
• Define Carta s value proposition and go-to-market strategies in India; and execute on key pipeline initiatives
• Coordinate with US and India product teams on localizing Carta s product for the India market
• Re-imagine how Carta can create more owners in the world, by making private securities liquid and enabling them to be traded with similar ease as public securities

The Impact You ll Have

The Strategy & Business Operations team leads planning and delivery of key initiatives at Carta. This role will specifically be responsible for taking the lead on the most important strategic and operational projects, especially for the new markets we have entered into.

About You

We're hiring for a Manager-level role:

• Have a learning mindset; Carta sits at the intersection of software, private markets, public markets and other capital markets players - we learn new things every day
• 4-6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital
• Deep understanding of financial services; experience in enterprise software, SaaS, and/or fintech a plus
• Superior financial modeling and presentation skills
• Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to accelerate Carta s growth
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, especially to executives
