Description
As a Logistics Analytics Manager, the incumbent will directand coordinate the efforts of team responsible for end-to-end visibility, data quality,trade operation support & managing help desks.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limitedto:
Lead the teamengaged in GMM (global materials management) Helpdesk & visibility ops, DataQuality Transformation, Trade Lane Management visibility ops, Trade OpsAnalytics, Trade Ops visibility ops, Global transport Operations Support & Business Support.Ability toprovide technical expertise in the areas of analytics and visualization
Ability toprovide technical expertise in the development of advanced mathematical modelsfor optimization problems to address business needs.
Provide personal development and career planning to the teammembers
Responsibilities include project planning, model development& deployment support
Manageproject and coordinate tasks with other project team members in Operations,Supply Chain, and Finance
Communicatemodel results to a variety of stakeholders including supply chain analysts,operations leaders, and commercial leaders
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Job requirements:
- An advanced College or university degree or equivalent experience preferably in Operations Research, Supply chain / Logistics, Operations Management, or related fields
- Minimum 8 years experience in the area of visibility operations, data quality & managing help desk operations
- Strong understanding of Global freight business
- Knowledge of GTN, CBS, MRC, Salesforce
- Experience with visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI
- Understanding of web scrapping, web harvesting techniques
- Excellent leadership skills to effectively sponsor supply chain improvements making the best use of available resources, while maintaining strong people focus and fulfilling the responsibilities for leading people
- Extremely strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems
- Fluent English written and oral skills
- Strong Business Acumen
