Description

As a Logistics Analytics Manager, the incumbent will directand coordinate the efforts of team responsible for end-to-end visibility, data quality,trade operation support & managing help desks.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limitedto:

  • Lead the teamengaged in GMM (global materials management) Helpdesk & visibility ops, DataQuality Transformation, Trade Lane Management visibility ops, Trade OpsAnalytics, Trade Ops visibility ops, Global transport Operations Support & Business Support.Ability toprovide technical expertise in the areas of analytics and visualization

  • Ability toprovide technical expertise in the development of advanced mathematical modelsfor optimization problems to address business needs.

  • Provide personal development and career planning to the teammembers

  • Responsibilities include project planning, model development& deployment support

  • Manageproject and coordinate tasks with other project team members in Operations,Supply Chain, and Finance

  • Communicatemodel results to a variety of stakeholders including supply chain analysts,operations leaders, and commercial leaders



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Job requirements:
  • An advanced College or university degree or equivalent experience preferably in Operations Research, Supply chain / Logistics, Operations Management, or related fields
  • Minimum 8 years experience in the area of visibility operations, data quality & managing help desk operations
  • Strong understanding of Global freight business
  • Knowledge of GTN, CBS, MRC, Salesforce
  • Experience with visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI
  • Understanding of web scrapping, web harvesting techniques
  • Excellent leadership skills to effectively sponsor supply chain improvements making the best use of available resources, while maintaining strong people focus and fulfilling the responsibilities for leading people
  • Extremely strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems
  • Fluent English written and oral skills
  • Strong Business Acumen
