Roles and Responsibilities

What You'll Do:


  • Successful qualification of NPI for first time.
  • 100% Customer on-time delivery - OTD is met.
  • Successful completion of NPI with zero escalation.
  • Execute NPI with zero scrap.
  • Successful ramp-up and smooth transfer to mass production.
  • Should be well versed with BOM Scrubbing, Customer Inputs - CTQ's, SMT and System Integration Processes.
  • Should have knowledge on NPI document readiness, Material readiness, Tooling readiness, Line set-up with all qualified processes.
  • Own the processes that includes Qualification build and finished product submission to Customer and the approval from Customer. Getting signoff from Customer on the NPI build and getting approval for start of pilot build, followed by Mass Production.
  • Responsible for detailed study of data pack, Customer requirements, PCB Gerber file, Panelization of PCB's inputs to PCB Supplier on EQ's.
  • Coordinate with all related CFT Members for New Product Developments to develop strategies for New Products Introduction.
  • Provide engineering support for all activities in product development process.
  • Monitor status of all new products and processes and ensure effective execution of projects according to required Customer Required Target Dates.
  • Prepare plans for all NPI projects and coordinate with all stakeholders and ensure good quality product is made from the SMT & Backend Lines.
  • Coordinate with Product Management Team and develop and implement Manufacturing Plan for products.
  • Assist Manufacturing department and manage communication across all departments.
  • Provide inputs to the Equipment, Process, Test Engineering Teams on the NPI Process requirements and Test requirements.
  • Administer efficient FAI release to QA and Customer.
  • Monitor operations of product and evaluate the Wave Pallets, Jigs, Tools & Fixtures designs.
  • Owner for on-time ECN Implementations, PFMEA and Control Plan release.
  • Ensure compliance to all SOP's and review Work instructions.
  • Work within the CFT and assist in transition of design prototypes into cost efficient and high volume products.
  • Develop and implement efficient material handling, flow strategies, recommendation and implementation of Low Cost Automation proposals and maintain safe and manufacturing processes at all times.
  • Analyze and recommend DFM inputs to Customers.
  • Coordinate with NPI Manager and maintain knowledge on product status and prepare appropriate reports.
Who You Are?
  • Bachelors Degree in Electronics or any equivalent with 8 Plus Years of Experience in Electronics Product Manufacturing and EMS Field.
  • Should have handled Industrial, Telecom, Medical, Aerospace and Defense Projects.
Experience Required :

8 to 10 Years
