Job Role Clear is looking for Tally Developers to develop Clear's Add-ons and integrate Tally with Clear products. As a Tally Developer, you will be required to understand business requirements, create engineering tasks, and create customised solutions for the customer on Tally. To ensure success as a Tally Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of software systems, a passion for customer delight, and high-level communications skills. Ultimately, a top-notch Tally Developer drives success by creating specialised business software solutions, tailor-made to the customer's needs. Location - Bangalore Responsibilities: Conducting feasibility calls with existing and potential customers for functional and technical consultation. Meeting with customers to discuss their software needs and creating requirement documents. Designing and commissioning customised addons and software solutions on Tally for the customer. Integrating ClearTax products with Tally products using standard or open technologies by developing, customising, optimising and maintaining productized connectors, extensions or addons Creating and maintaining test data with all scenarios required for development. Testing the performance of the installed system and fixing bugs. Providing post-installation follow-ups. Helping the sales team with due diligence, security and all technical related queries. Working with the Engineering and Product team to understand the changing software product and act as a liaison to the business teams. Ensuring that solution documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy. Other Responsibilities Managing cases, requests and enhancements using online tools and processes. Determining problems, providing workaround resolution, root cause analysis and managing major incidents. Building internal tools and processes to manage cases, requests and enhancements. Required Skills Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent work experience as a Solutions Engineer/Developer. Relevant experience of 3-4 years. Extreme familiarity with Tally products like Tally.ERP 9, TallyPrime 3.0, etc and ability to create a big picture of software solutions Practical experience with Tally Definition Language (TDL) is a must. Exposure to other languages like Java, C#.NET, VB.NET or Python is preferred. Expertise in customization and integration using TDL Tool. Basic accounting knowledge and Tally specific features like vouchers, inventory, masters and addons is a must. Great communication skills - Frequent and clear written communication with a knack for taking technical language and making it understandable to a layman is vital. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - A passion for solving tough problems and proposing elegant solutions. Self-driven work ethic - You should be a self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through to completion.
