Job Summary

System Administration / DevOps Engineer

Experience Required: 3+ Years

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure software and hardware.
Manage network servers and technology tools Set up accounts and workstations.
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements, Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls Upgrade systems with new releases and models Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies Requirements.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms Specially linux.
Systems design, feasibility and cost studies and recommend cost-effective cloud solutions to clients.
Understand client / Project requirements to Deploy Cloud Infrastructure with relevant service which can use to improve web application performance.
Support cloud servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
Develop scripts for automating client/server functions or Daily Backup.
Installation & Configuration of PHP/MySQL & Apache, IIS, tomcat.
Use to with VMWARE, Virtual box and VMWARE vSphere.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude .

Good if you have

Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role Experience with databases(MYSQL, MongoDb, PGSql), networks (LAN, WAN, MAN) and patch management Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language Knowledge of cloud technology like AWS, Google cloud, Digital Ocean is must.
Configure and fine tune Cloud Infrastructure systems, Upgrade/Downgrade the EC2 Instances, Modifying RDS Instances and other services.
Deploy AWS Infrastructure with Windows and Linux Servers with required software and configuration.
Having knowledge about Zimbra email server (Community Edition), Endian Firewall and pfsence Firewall.

Good Knowledge of GIT, Docker knowledge, CI/CD knowledge
