About the Team:
The Business Systems team s mission is to drive a coherent, integrated backbone of supporting software systems that is architected for growth, efficiency, and scale. The team is responsible for the overall global information strategy including systems design, architecture, and roadmap. The Business Systems team is an agile organization which helps improve company efficiency and support strategic business initiatives in partnership with its respective business stakeholders.
About the Role:
The Senior Integration Engineer role will be responsible for working with Business Systems Analysts and Architects as well as business stakeholders to develop integrations and automations between systems. They will assist in troubleshooting and debugging integration issues, as well as exploring new ways to optimize existing integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure stability and viability of application integrations across various functional areas
  • Assist with internal initiatives to dog food Confluent products as part of Business Systems integration architecture
  • Develop and maintain new and existing integrations built in Workato and/or Kafka & Confluent
  • Manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and support existing integrations
  • Work with integration architects to help maintain a reference architecture for business applications at scale
  • Develop and adhere to governance, assurance, and standards to ensure architecture compliance
  • Participate in design/code reviews with other team members
  • Serve as lead point of contact for integration issue resolution outside of PST office hours

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in an Integration Engineer role
  • Experience in enterprise integration design patterns like SOA, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Experience with iPaas integration platforms like Workato, Boomi, or Snaplogic, or Mulesoft.
  • Strong Experience with REST and SOAP web services
  • SQL language proficiency with at least one of the common database platforms such as SQL server, Oracle, or MySQL
  • Experience with integrating back office systems for the purpose of consuming product-related data
  • Experience working with industry standard compliance practices in a SOX-controlled environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Strong desire to learn and apply new technologies to business problems
  • Growth mindset with the ability to apply constructive feedback to improve themselves and processes around them
  • Ability to self-train quickly and pick up new skills as necessary
  • Experience with Apache Kafka is a plus
