Summary

We are expanding our team in Bangalore for SAP Concur, the cloud-based market leader in corporate Travel and Expense management. One of the teams we are expanding is our Global Integration Engineering team. Integration Engineering is a team within SAP Concur that provides integration solutions between SAP Concur s core products and third-party business systems. The team is looking for new members that can help develop an integration platform product called Concur Connect. You will be involved from the design through the development, and all the way to the delivery of the solution. The product will be critical to solving our customer s integration challenges with their business systems.

The Role

The Senior Developer Full-Stack will be a part of our development team and will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering platform features. In addition, you will be asked to help the team plan and deliver software increments adhering to our agile processes in close collaboration with the development manager.

How could you contribute to the tasks and activities below?

• Working with the product owner and architect to deliver software design and coding for product features that meet key product standards in performance, quality, usability, and supportability. You will be working with micro-service based applications using Java, Angular 10, JavaScript, Spring Boot, REST API based-applications and AWS services.
• Be the lead developer when it comes to front-end related development requirements working primarily with Angular 10 technology.
• Mentor less experienced developers using practical hands-on techniques, eg pair programming, code reviews and so on to ensure that all deliveries meet the corporate standards for clean code, security and quality.
• Work closely with the development manager and the development team to plan and track the deliverables of the team to ensure objectives are met as per commitment to stakeholders. The team uses a mix of Kanban and Scrum to deliver on all requirements.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• BE/MCA or equivalent 8+ experience, preferably in computer science or an engineering degree, experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Excellent practical knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies
• Experience in team and stakeholder management. Ability to adapt to change
• Take the initiative to completely resolve issues. Can be relied upon to handle unforeseen obstacles . Must be people oriented and delivers upon commitments
• Ability to perform under stress on multiple concurrent tasks. Will work in a global team with many dependencies

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Hands on experience in developing cloud-based applications using Java, Angular 10, JavaScript, Spring Boot, REST API based applications
• Programming experience: Java, JavaScript, Angular 10. Technologies: jQuery,MySQL,JSON, XML, CSV,Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker Containers
• Tools: JIRA, Eclipse, Jenkins, Confluence
• Experience of developing on AWS is a plus
• Knowledge of data conversion & modeling, knowledge of application designs (creating/interpreting), knowledge of service-oriented architecture and multi-application / cross-platform integration
• Awareness of GitHub, CI-CD technologies
