Responsibilities

• The candidate will support the Design of SPMs, Industrial Products and Heavy Engineering new project development
• The candidate will be an integral part of the design team and work in design, new product development and detail engineering projects
• Creating concepts in 3D CAD
• Creating Part Models and Assembly models in 3D CAD
• Creating manufacturing drawings for parts and assemblies
• Generating detailed BOMs
• Selection of purchase parts for the design
• Performing design calculations
• Need to work with multidiscipline team to complete the design

Required Skills

• A Bachelors degree with 6-8 years of experience or a Masters degree with 4-6 years of experience new product development
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• In depth experience in any two CAD software s namely Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG NX, CATIA
• Good experience in Sheet Metal Concepts, Structural Design and Welding as per ASME Standards
• Good experience in 2D Drawing Creation and GD&T
• Understands the different manufacturing processes and Standards
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics knowledge will be an added advantage
• Good Experience in the the Drawing Release processes like the ECO, ECRs
• Knowledge on the various raw materials used in the design
• Strong communication skills oral, written and presentation
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs like Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and external customers
