Title
Software Validation Engineer for Automatic Transmission Projects

Roles
- Requirement analysis & development of SiiL/HiL Test specifications.
- Test script development in Python.
- Execution of the test scripts on the test setup (Eg:HiL) and analyze the test results
- Perform different aspects of testing including functional, smoke, regression & performance testing
- Develop tools and concepts to automate product & system testing
- Perform Field condition simulations on test setup

Responsibilities
- Works as a fully contributing team member under broad guidance
- Responsible for development and implementation of project deliverables on time and on quality
- Troubleshooting issues quickly and supporting the team to identify the root cause
- Active contribution to Innovation (Product/Process/Business/Paper/Publication)
- Bring in ideas for process/efficiency improvements

Technical Skills
- Experience in
a) requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting and status reporting to stakeholders
Hardware in Loop (HiL) testing & test automation
b) System testing
c) Testing techniques like White-box and Black Box testing
d) different aspects of testing like functional, smoke, regression & performance testing
e) Test script development using scripting languages: VB, Java, Perl, Python
f) Documentation of Test results / logging defects
i) Experience using explorative testing is an added advantage.

- Knowledge on
a) Protocols : CAN/KWP/UDS/Flexray
b) Diagnostics/OBD tests
c) Functional Safety (ISO26262)
d) Automotive components like sensors, actuators

Special Skills
- Good Knowledge of Control Systems and Hybrid Drives Topology

- Measurement Calibration Diagnostic (MCD) : CANAPE /CANOE/Canalyzer/Candela Studio/INCA
