Job Summary
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Senior Accountant, you will be involved in:
- Maintaining financial data of the business as per the accounting principles.
- Will be the custodian of cash receipts
- Keep track of expenses and keeping a check on those
- Ensure proper bills and vouchers are prepared
- Ensure receivables and payables are followed up on time
- Able to maintain and manage filing of the company with various departments like Income Tax, MCA and GST.
Besides technical skills, we would like to hire a person who is honest and has high integrity.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
The person should have:
- At-least 2 3 years of experience in managing accounts
- You should be clear with accounting fundamentals
- Have working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 with GST
- Should be hands-on using Word, Excel, Google Sheets. Knows major formulas of accounting
- Should have knowledge of taxation fundamentals like TDS, GST
- Comfortable in dealing with banks, vendors and suppliers
- Should be able to prepare financial reports like cash flows/ balance sheets etc
