About the Job:

DG7 is seeking a talented Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Manager to join the performance marketing team and help lead acquisition efforts for our B2B Enterprise clients. As the owner of one of most important performance marketing channels, you will have a meaningful impact on the growth of the clients business. This role will focus on both the data-to-day campaign management and the long-term strategic planning and forecasting. As the channel expert, you will be the go to person for all things paid search.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand clients business, industry and objectives and strategically run ROI driven campaigns.
  • Manage media campaigns across channels specific activities include Paid Search & Display forecasting, strategy, campaign development, execution, optimization, and measurement.
  • Analyze performance data and provide relevant insights and action plans around keywords, landing pages, ad copy, audiences, bidding algorithms, competition and more.
  • Relentlessly test new segments, strategies and messaging as well as working with the Web team to coordinate tests for on-site optimizations.
  • Provide regular channel performance reports and ad hoc reports.
  • Report key learnings and major takeaways to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualities:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Use data to make intelligent, actionable business decisions.
  • Senior level, hands on experience executing and optimizing direct response campaigns through keyword footprint, bidding, experience testing, and targeting.
  • Experience with running A/B split tests, calculating significance, tracking results, summarizing findings, and iterating into new ideas.
  • Prior team lead experience not necessary but a Plus.
  • Exhibits accountability for the measurable success of programs.
  • Passion for technology, marketing and its influence on consumer behavior.
  • Strong communication, analytical skills and a proven ability to communicate with senior management.
  • Must be detail-oriented, very organized, a multi-tasker and able to work well under pressure.
  • Stays up to date on new changes in the industry and actively reads several blogs.
