Vp - Procurement Job in Dream11
Job Summary
Procurement @ Dream11As a member of procurement team you will be responsible to cater across Dream Sports entities. Your role would involve the entire gamut of purchase & contract management of cutting edge technology.
Your Role:
- Develop Dream Sports procurement strategy and execution plan
- Identification and realisation of cost-saving opportunities for current and new procurements
- Align procurement performance with business needs
- Establish strong relationships with vendors, facilitate communication
- Establish strong connect with peer companies to facilitate knowledge sharing on procurements
- To research on the market trends and come up with suitable use cases
- Negotiate various service multi-year agreements
- Partner with different teams for contract administration of all third party agreements
- Work with legal team to prepare sound contracts with risk avoidance and ensure compliance
Must Have:
- 10+ years procurement experience
- Proven experience in handling spends of ~ Rs.100 Cr+
- Ability to close the best deals (across all departments) commercially with enough market inputs/comparisons
- Ability to manage all contract renewals, review agreement fine points, and manage payment schedule for ready access and timely negotiations
Good To Have:
- Ability to negotiate deals as per departmental priorities
- Good tech industry connects and domain understanding
- Use technological understanding of tools in finer aspects of negotiations
- Ability to balance business urgency and cost considerations in procurement
- Can establish lean process/methods to constantly remove redundancies and enhance productivity/ROI
- Great temperament to work with various stakeholders
- Is an active researcher of current and future trends in technology
- Should be able to analyse current and future spends
- Is a Sports Fan
