Job Description

Professional Experience: 6 - 9 years

Educational Background: B.Tech/M.Tech (Optional), B.Sc./M.Sc., Computer Science, Maths,Statistics or equivalent field, PhD (Optional)

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of one or more machine learning models to solve a wide variety
business problems from a technical standpoint.
- Explore the scope of applying state of the art research to a number of challenging problems we
are trying to solve using computer vision and deep learning.
- Continuously experiment with different model architectures, coming up with new architectures,
training methods in order to improve on our current benchmarks for a number of usecases.
- Contribute hands-on in developing new models and maintaining old models by means of
adopting best practices.
- Help senior and junior members of the team from a thought leader standpoint.

Skills & Requirements

Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of deep learning fundamentals including network architectures, training
artefacts, overfitting and regularisation in neural networks, batch normalisation and so on.
- Good track records in contributing to open-source or Kaggle.
- Proficiency in python.
- Familiarity with latest research work in the field of deep learning and computer vision.
- Expert in at least one of the deep learning frameworks e.g. PyTorch, MxNet or Tensorflow. The
candidate should be comfortable in creating new models/methods or modifying current open
source implementations of latest deep learning models.
