Job Summary Ecolab is partnering with SMC2 to develop the Ecolab Digital Center (EDC) in Bangalore, India.. Operated by SMC2, EDC is designed to help Ecolab achieve its goal to make the world cleaner, safer and healthier protecting people and vital resources by developing new digital capabilities to leverage across its global operations. Teams at the Ecolab Digital Center will work collaboratively with Ecolab IT & Commercial Digital Solutions associates around the world on cutting-edge digital innovation to accelerate growth around key initiatives in analytics, application development and digital development. With your help we will develop digital solutions that help Ecolab customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments.   • Responsible for the design, development, and support of ETL applications for customer self-service and eCommerce portal
  • Assist with data analysis and modeling
  • Provide off-hour/weekend ETL support (on a rotating basis)
  • Interacting with other team members from Product and Salesfore Engineering
  • Assist with task identification and effort estimates for ETL development
  • Assist with risk and issue identification
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 3+ years experience designing ETL methodology for supporting data transformations using Informatica Cloud (Power Center will also be considered)
  • Proficient in analyzing business processes requirements and translating them into technical requirements
  • Proficient in Data Modeling, writing complex SQL queries, SQL query tuning
  • Hands on experience working on Flat files, multiple databases like SQL, PostgreSQL
  • Experience in shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods (i.e. Scrum, Kanban)
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA or BS degree in a Computer Science or Information Systems related discipline
  • Experience in any cloud technologies like Azure or AWS cloud a plus
