Cloud Computing Architect Job in Ehook Systems, Llc

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of industry cloud computing principles and implementation of Cloud Computing concepts
• Knowledge of designing a comprehensive Cloud Computing solution
• Knowledge of the various types of clouds and as a service offerings
• Knowledge of the cloud infrastructure technologies (systems, storage, security, networking, virtualization technologies)
• Knowledge of the Cloud Computing offerings that make up the infrastructure of a Cloud Computing solution such as hypervisors, provisioning, monitoring, security, storage, integration, cloudburst, reporting, billing and metering.

Desired Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor*s degree and preferred Master*s degree in an Engineering, Science, or Information Technology discipline

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a Technical, Systems, or Solutions Architecture
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Cloud computing
• Recent experience in Architecture, Design, and Implementation of highly scalable, highly available Cloud Management Platforms as well as Cloud services and solutions
• Handson experience in creating and deploying complex cloud solutions in small and large environments.
• Handson experience with some of the following service architectures: Azure, SoftLayer, vCHS, Amazon Web Services, Google, etc.
• Familiarity with Networking and Security technologies like routing, switching, Firewalls, IDS/IPS etc
• RESTful API/JSON Integration experience
• Experience working in DevOps environments is highly desired
• Knowledge of prominent cloud standards and specification efforts (e.g., Openstack)
• Understanding of security standards and concepts
• Familiarity with networking & security solutions like routing, switching, Firewalls etc.
