JOB DESCRIPTION Highlight Top / Key Responsibilities for this position Set and reinforce standards for a safe work environment. He/ She will lead the Global Foundry Safety / Green Council to drive our mission for Safety and Green Initiatives with the strategic foundries globally. Identify opportunities, develop plans and timelines with existing suppliers to improve their ability to meet the required performance. Actively participate in the monthly Buyer Report Out meeting to support P&IC managers, buyer/planners and quality managers through fast resolution of escalated / repetitive supplier delivery and quality issues, including roots causes countermeasures (RCCM), and long term effective corrective actions. Monitor key performance indicators, RDSL and DPPM- Initiate development program on TOP RDSL suppliers. Support chronic DPPM issues to Plant QA. Support Global Supplier Quality in case of chronic issues escalation. Analyzes site forecast provided to critical suppliers and keep close communication with Operations as well as the supplier to identify programs necessary to maintain supplier performance (stocking program opportunities, adjust suppliers capacities, etc.) Ensure Suppliers are trained in Structured Problem Solving, Lean & Six Sigma and that Supplier management is committed to the use of these tools. Drive STAM adaption across all plants and provide necessary trainings and Dashboards with aim of continual improvement in tracking of ISV Assets. Desired Educational Qualification B.E. (Mech/ Metallurgical) Technical Skills / Knowledge Required Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering. Fluent in English. Knowledge on Castings and Forging Process. Minimum 12-15 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Foundry Processes, Lean Deployment, Supplier Quality Assurance. She/he must be self-sufficient and requires little, if any, direct supervision or guidance She/he is actively engaged in building and improving suppliers performance
