Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities: As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure-based PAAS solutions to meet the organization's business requirements. This role involves hands-on technical expertise in Azure cloud services, infrastructure management, and collaboration with development, support and architecture teams. The Azure Cloud Engineer plays a critical role in deploying and optimizing cloud resources while ensuring security, scalability, and reliability. Specific Assignments: Build, Operate and Manage the could platform. Designing, Implement, and Optimizing complex Azure infrastructure solutions, considering a well architected framework- reliability, security, cost-optimization, operational excellence, performance efficiency, sustainability. Bring new cloud capabilities to support business value creation. Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages to streamline tasks and deployments. Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like Bicep, Terraform, Azure blueprints for efficient environment configuration. Establish and enforce robust security measures to protect Azure environments from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with Azure security standards. Lead security assessments, audits, and implement advanced threat detection and mitigation strategies. Design and implement advanced monitoring solutions for real-time visibility into the performance and health of Azure services. Run our infrastructure with Azure cloud native components, Kubernetes, Event grid, VMs, SQL Databases, Cosmos DB. Create and maintain pipelines on Azure Devops to deploy infrastructure and applications. Respond to Cloud availability incidents and provide support for service engineers with customer incidents. Design, build and maintain core infrastructure pieces that allow Cloud scaling to support concurrent requests from users. Plan the growth of Cloud infrastructure. Document every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions and then into automation. Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack. Maintain operational compliance include budget and costs. Skills required: Strong in two or more of these core competencies: SQL or NoSQL Database technologies, Virtual Network design and management, Application\Infrastructure performance and monitoring, Azure Kubernetes service, Infrastructure as Code(IAC), Internet of Things Management, Azure Cost accounting, Security and compliance in cloud eco system Competent in either windows or Linux machines Have strong scripting skills in one of the scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, YAML, Bicep). Desired Mindset: Strong proponent of documenting, so you don't need to learn the same thing twice. To build automation and tooling, so that you never have to do the same work twice. Enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude. Understand the value of delivering quickly and iterating fast. Think about interconnected systems. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. At least 4 years of professional IT experience with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience as an Azure cloud engineer Stack: Azure cloud platform, Python, Powershell, YAML, Bicep, Network infrastructure
