Operation Reporting Analyst Job in Evolent Health

Job Responsibilities:

• 30- 50% of the candidate's time will be spentbuilding out MicroStrategy Reports to visualize existing datasets for internal business users.
• The remaining time will be spent in refining existing reportsand ETL infrastructure(SSIS,MSQL,MicroStrategy) including updating metrics to meet evolving business need as well as executing upon ad hoc analysis as new needs/requirements arise.

Qualification Requirements:

• 2-5years of hands-on production experiencein

• Working in Operational reporting, oranequivalent role; specializing in data report development, metric design/definition, and development of automated operational reports
• Working with MicroStrategy (or a similar industry standard BI solution) either completing report development, or most ideally, building out the MicroStrategy semantic layer in an Architect role.
• Workingwith MSSQL2012, 2014, or 2017 (or similar RDBMS) including: schema design, schema execution, authoring custom SPROCs / views, and query development.
• Demonstrate understanding of different data models,familiar with concepts of Star-Schema designfor data warehouse development(fact tables, dimensions, metrics, non-additive metrics, fact-less fact table, etc.)
• SSIS development for ETLand/or reporting automation (or industry equivalent tool)

• Working with Source Control (git, Mercurial, Subversion, etc.) and related tools (SourceTree,GitKraken,VisualSVN, etc.)

• Self-driven andcomfortable workingindependentlyand contributing as a part of a team
• Strong communication skills: ability to talk nitty-gritty details with technical users/developers as well as summarize data findings for non-technical business users

Nice-to-Have:

• Certified MicroStrategy Architect or experienceacting as aMicroStrategy ArchitecturebuildingouttheMicroStrategy semantic layer on top of existing RDBMSinfrastructure
• Open to skill developmentopportunities (learning new technologies to assist in reporting), constantly seeking out new technology and skills to meeting business reporting needs.
• Experience in Object Oriented programming languages (C#, Python,etc.) and design concepts
• Sometechnicalwritingexperience:assisting business users finalize technical requirements,documenting scope of work to becompleted, and documenting work implemented
• Experience building outsmall tomid-size data warehouse schemas(supporting 1 to many,1 500 million record fact tables),building SSAS cubes and related ETL to support

• Working experience with SSSRSdevelopmentor similar reporting tools
