Essential functions

Create and maintain product documentation for our health plan services platform, e.g., web-based claims adjudication, web portals.

Publish product documentation on time based on product development lifecycle deadlines.

Build relationships with product stakeholders and subject matter experts to facilitate documentation efforts.

Identify and implement best practices to ensure high quality, product documentation distributed in a timely and appropriate manner

Key competencies/skill/success factors:

Experience working in a healthcare environment (ideally with exposure to health plan services concepts)

Strong time management and multitasking skills

Strong written and verbal communication skill

Qualification and Experience:

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

1+ years of experience working as a technical writer supporting a software product

1+ years of experience working with product stakeholders/users to understand technical solutions for business requirements

1+ years of experience with online help documentation (we use MadCap Flare)

Big plus

Understanding of Scrum and Agile Methodologies

Experience reading use cases / user stories

Experience supporting web-based products

Experience with Jira/Confluence

Experience with instructional design, e.g., creating video overviews of product releases
