Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide financial projections by coordinating budget/forecast preparation; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information; advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.
  • To formulate and execute financial strategies towards fund raising from institutions/financial partners/JVs.
  • To anchor financial strategies by anchoring Financing and servicing therefore for TOT, HAM, BOT bids.
  • To lead the commercial discussions with Partners, Business Associates and Statutory bodies.
  • To maintain enough funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations.
  • To maximize sales margin by recommending product and service pricing policies. Work on all financial analysis & enforcement of approved budgets, critical for Project Profitability
  • To be responsible for and report on the overall business risk assessment, alignment with management plan and the entity Board requirements.
  • Accomplish MIS strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing applicable norms, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Develops MIS strategies by contributing accounting and financial information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives
  • Minimizes legally required taxes by studying regulations; presenting tax strategies to management; filing returns.
  • To manage the annual audit process in conjunction with the appointed auditors to ensure statutory accounts are produced within the required deadlines.
  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • To coach, guide, evaluate and upgrade skills of immediate team on a continuous basis.


Experience / Exposure

  • Has a good track record of building a strong finance & Management Information Utilization team and has been instrumental in organizational/business growth. Has successful experience in raising funds to support business requirement.
  • Has acted as Head Business Financial Controller role for at least 4-6 years in professional/esteemed organizations.
  • Experience of working in an ERP environment.
  • Striking and managing joint ventures
  • Dealing with Statutory Authorities viz NHAI

Skill Sets

  • Fund raising experience, Treasury management
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • MIS, financial Planning and Analysis, relevant statutory/regulatory knowledge (GST\Taxation).
  • Developing Budgets, Legal Compliance, Tracking Budget expenses, Managing Processes, Reporting Research results, Management Proficiency
  • Strategic orientation, Decision making
  • Coordination, Motivating Others, Attention to Detail
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Good in networking in the field of finance and Infrastructure domain
