Job Summary
  • Interact with the client team to implement healthcare analytics logic on large-scale hospital datasetsto organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate various analytical reports
  • Lead a team of data analysts to perform clinical data mining from various health systems and transform it in the normalized form. Execute automation opportunities
  • Understand the current set of applications, and processes and build a sound knowledge repository

Key Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for the data analyst team as well as inter-dependent teams

  • Understand EHR database mapping, data structure, documentation structure and HIPPA regulations

  • Coordinate with clinical/technical experts within and outside of the organization to develop/enhance the existing FIGmd Healthcare Data Analytics Platform

  • Identify, manage and escalate issues across project lifecycle phases

  • Identify and execute opportunities for automation to improve quality and speed of deliveries

  • Review the artefacts created by the team members and provide qualitative feedback

Experience:

Must have:

  • Minimum 6-9 years experience out of which a minimum of 3 years in the US Healthcare domain in EHR data migration or healthcare data analysis strongly preferred

  • Effective people management and data-driven performance management skills

  • Experience in the healthcare domain with strong understanding of HIS & EHRs like Allscripts, Athena, eCW, etc. Well versed with PM, Claims, Lab Systems and RIS, SNOMED, LIONC, CPT, ICD

  • Strong understanding of SQL and the ability to develop queries to troubleshoot issues

  • Good understanding of data modeling tools and standards, ETL tools, and big data technologies

  • Self-starter and organizer with high energy and drive to meet the needs of a demanding customer and partner landscape. Good interpersonal skills with a focus on listening and questioning skills

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of various data formats like XML, HL7, CCDA

  • Experience in R and/or Python scripting

Qualification:

  • Graduate or equivalent qualification with experience in recognized, global IT services / consulting companies in the healthcare domain
