Job Summary
Contribute to robust, scalable and high quality test automation solutions. Prepare Test scenarios and write Automation test cases for API and UI. Conduct manual and automated testing of web application and backend services. Conduct both black and white box testing. Understand feature requirements, identify positive/negative test cases to verify feature functionality and document the test cases. At least 2+ years of hands-on scripting (automation) in languages like - Java, JavaScript. ____ 06 In-depth knowledge of any automation tool like Karate, Cucumber, TestNG, Puppeteer, and Selenium. 3-6 years of experience in testing. Experience in API testing using POSTMAN or any REST API testing tool. Experience in Functionality, Compatibility, Integration, and Regression Testing. Good knowledge in writing SQL Queries and understanding of Complex SQL Queries. Hands-on Experience in white-box testing, black-box testing, test case execution, result generation, status reporting, and defect reporting, regression testing, JIRA. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of SDLC and Agile models. Good analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills required. Be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Be fast, efficient and able to juggle multiple projects.
About the Role:
In this role, you will work on the test automation platform to enable testing across desktop and mobile devices. You will test production code both manually and with automated tools. You will not only perform the tests as pure black box testers but also understand software internals, debug problems, and write automated tests with Java scripts. You will work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation. A successful candidate must have a strong drive for results, have an obsession for high quality, must be a team player, and must have the ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.Key responsibilities:
