Experienced QA Engineer - Be A Crucial Member of an Innovative Growth Team

Fresh Prints is an NYC-based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give them the working capital, training, and support to build the business at their schools. We have 400+ students who will contribute significantly to sales over the next 12 months.

What new unique value propositions can we create through tech? How do we develop additional revenue channels? Increase operational efficiency? How do we usher in the next stage at Fresh Prints?These are the questions our cross-functional Growth Team members work on every day. They do so not as QA engineers, developers, or marketers, but as entrepreneurs, determined to drive the business forward.

You d be one of four QA members of the Growth Team and the only QA engineer. As such, you ll touch every component of QA. You ll work with our PMs, developers, and designers to understand our business requirements, develop testing automation, and ensure that we deploy high-performance and scalable tech.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and specs to provide meaningful feedback
• Create comprehensive test plans, cases, and data
• Identify, document, and prioritize bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing
• Develop and apply testing processes
• Actively support developers through debugging
• Track and optimize quality assurance metrics

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an automation engineer
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools
• Strong understanding of SQL
• Experience with SCRUM processes
• Able to connect the dots between tech and business value
• Strong attention to detail
• Perfect English fluency is a must

• Competitive salary between $800 and $1500 per month (adjusted for experience)

Job Location

• The job can be based in India or the Philippines (Remote)
• For candidates from India we will have an office in Hyderabad eventually, however working from our office is completely optional.
• Candidates from other countries may be considered

• 2:00pm IST - 11:00pm IST.
