Title: Quality Engineer

Experience Range: 1 3 years in quality assurance

Education: B.E./B.Tech. with 70% throughout academics from premier institutions

Place of Work: Hyderabad

Functional Group: Technology

Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements and come up with a comprehensive test case list
• Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression and system testing, exploratory testing, defect logging etc
• Contribute to automation and/or performance testing
• Prepare detailed test plan based on project requirements
• Understand and follow all the standard procedures in QA team
• Understand technology and domain areas for the tasks assigned

Familiarize with all testing tools employed and be ready to pick up new tools and technologies based on the project needs.

Requirements:

Must have

• Experience in testing Web and Client-Server applications
• Well versed with SDLC, STLC and other Quality Assurance processes
• Good technical and debugging skills
• Experience in Automation using Selenium & Java
• Good programming skills using Core Java (including Collections)
• Good knowledge on testing frameworks: JUnit, TestNG etc.
• Good exploratory testing skills
• Team Player, ability to multi-task, work with minimal help and provide excellent follow-through on tasks.
• Good Oral & Written communication skills and able to give updates in conference calls with UK/USA teams
