  • Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in machine learning, distributed microservices, distributed event streaming and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and be asked to code or evaluate code
  • Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve ?nancial empowerment
  • Develop deep domain knowledge and de?ne functional and technical requirements on the basis of interactions with the users and domain knowledge.
  • Create high and low-level system designs, product delivery strategies and roadmaps, testing strategies
  • Conduct feasibility studies to generate multiple approaches with pros and cons and demonstrate technical and business problem solving skills
  • Work with cloud native stack, build on AWS, use technologies like Kubernetes and Serverless
  • Provide software best practices guidance to the team, raise the bar for technical excellence, conduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards and expected quality, and evaluation of existing and new software products.
  • Leverage machine learning and advanced analytics to develop intelligent products in collaboration with architects, engineers, data scientists, and analysts
  • Enhance DataLabs brand and credibility by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Recruit, manage, and retain a team of talented engineers
Desired Profile
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related ?eld
  • At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, developing Customer Facing Applications using large data bases & high volume of transactions.
  • 10+ years of experience in at least one of the following:
  • Java, Spring Framework
  • Javascript/TypeScript, Angular/Lit Framework/React.js, or Node.js
  • At least 3 years of people management experience, managing a team of of 10+ engineers directly, responsible for performance management and development
  • At least 2 years experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • 5+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile practices.
