Godrej Aerospace, engaged in the Hi-Tech Aerospace manufacturing activities, began in a small way, back in 1985, with development of critical, high precision spacecraft components, made out of exotic alloys. Today, the business is executing major Aerospace projects involving Precision Machining, Precision Fabrication, (Welding & Brazing), Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment, Assembly, Testing & Supply of Complex & Air worthy Systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development
2. Rubber & Composites Manufacturing
3. Resource Management
4. Adherence to AS9100, OHSAS, ISMS
Job Description 1. Meeting the production schedule, quality requirement and cost reduction
2. Design & development of tools, jigs fixture in rubber & composites
3. Facilitate Productivity improvement, failure analysis, multi-skilling of operators and optimum use of resources
4. Developing Technology for Rubber & Composite manufacturing facility in a time bound manner
5. Managing operations within budget for effective ROI as per plans by establishing work processes
6. Establish customer specific quality standards with facility approvals and practices like AS 9100, NADCAP for on time delivery of final product
7. Assist in Planning of facilities and resources like raw material inventory, operating procedures along with recruitment and training of personnel
8. Coordinate with technology transfer lab/organization
9. Understand & meet technology requirement of customer
10. Liaison with HO for procurement, billing, order execution
11. Liaison with partner labs, organization
12. Liaison with local MIDC, Factory inspector
13. Assist in business development of Missile motor casings, Aircraft engines components & Assemblies in ceramic & high temp composites. Also for Rubber moulding,- O- Rings, gaskets, bellows for aerospace
14. Work on technology for High temp composites & rubber for missiles, UAV-s
15. Export opportunities will be main focus.
16. Following OHSAS practices and ensuring safe working environment.

Qualification Details Essential Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Engineering Preferred Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Aeronautical engineering / Rubber Technology with Non-Destructive Testing qualification Experience Details Essential Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience for candidates with Engineering Degree and minimum of 12 years of experience for candidates with Diploma Preferred Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience for candidates with Engineering Degree and minimum of 12 years of experience for candidates with Diploma Special Skill 1.
