Job Summary
Job Summary: Halliburton, one of the world s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry, is looking for an Account Manager in Software Sales. This role focuses on selling software and related services to customers within the Oilfield Life Cycle, directly managing customer relationships to drive sales growth, market share, and revenue. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Revenue Generation: Responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue targets against an assigned quota. Sell software and software-related services directly to customers in the energy sector. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels, including staff, management, and executives. Ensure the profitability and success of the customer relationships by addressing technical, commercial, and operational needs. Market Expansion: Develop territory and account plans that focus on expanding business and improving market penetration. Forecasting and Opportunity Management: Provide accurate forecasting of business opportunities, including Commit, Upside, and Pipeline tracking. Track deals and opportunities, maintaining visibility and updates on potential revenue sources. Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with local sales management to align strategies and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. Qualifications: Education: Completion of an undergraduate degree in a related field. Experience: Minimum of one year of sales experience, preferably in software sales or in the energy sector.
