Mission Statement:
As an Associate Project Manager in the Energy System domain, you will lead the execution of projects, ensuring that all related activities align with company policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety, environmental requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. You will support process improvements to continually enhance project execution efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Planning:
- Be an active member of the project team, assisting with project handovers, execution planning, and overseeing project progress to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor and control the use of internal and external resources, ensuring that project goals are met effectively.
- Oversee project financials, including invoicing, cost management, expenses, and cash flow.
Risk Management & Stakeholder Management:
- Identify, qualify, and manage project risks, ensuring that all potential opportunities are pursued.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the key point of contact for customers and handle escalations related to project issues.
Procurement & Contract Management:
- Procure all necessary services, materials, and equipment from external and internal suppliers.
- Support project negotiations, claims management, and project changes.
- Ensure the successful close-out of projects, including contract finalization and customer acknowledgment.
Continuous Improvement:
- Actively contribute to process improvements for more effective project execution.
- Drive the formal acceptance of the project and ensure customer satisfaction upon completion.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work independently but in close collaboration with cross-functional teams under general supervision.
- Influence others within the team by clearly explaining facts, policies, and practices.

Your Background:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Management for EPC/GIS/AIS projects (preferably in the high-voltage switchgear industry).
- Experience with SAP, H4HANA, MS Office, MS Project, and Primavera.
- Familiarity with substation and GIS projects and the full project management lifecycle.
- In-depth knowledge of PMBOK/PMP methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of taxation, invoicing processes, and export documentation.
- Self-motivated, organized, and a change agent who challenges conventional thinking to improve business culture.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, time management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and effectively lead teams.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
