Onsite Engineer Job in Hitachi Systems India Pvt Ltd

Roles & Responsibility:

• Engineer Support shall act as single point of request for individual site for incident request and services request.
• Carryout the continuous monitoring of ICT infrastructure and shall submit a daily report of the same which should also mention any problem noticed, corrective and preventive action taken thereof.
• Shall carry out monitoring and performance analysis of ICT infrastructure on daily basis and shall submit a report.
• Raise service request to OEM for any problem/incident reported and shall follow up the same till closure
• Shall perform the task of housekeeping on the entire hardware, in order to maintain the healthy state of hardware.
• Monitoring of working of UTS application through utilities/dashboard provided by CRIS. Any issue should be immediately communicated to CRIS as per defined guidelines.
• Escalate the problem to CRIS representative through telephone/SMS/Mail as per escalation matrix defined by CRIS.
• Take the backup of critical configuration files of all the system software.
• Monitor of various backup processes and taking appropriate action, if required.
• Perform mock drill to restore various backups to validate the authenticity of the backup process. The periodicity of this activity will be provided by CRIS and can be increased /decreased at the discretion of CRIS.
• Troubleshoot all hardware related problems of at least Level 1
• Do call logging with OEM in case of any hardware failure and follow up till the closure of the problem
• Perform disk management task
• Monitor the overall system health
• Analyze the error/event logs of installed system Hardware/Software
