Job Summary
Job Description:
As a Data Engineeryou responsible for finding trends indatasets and
developing algorithms to help make rawdatamore useful to the company. This
role requires a significant set of technical skills, including a deep knowledge of
SQL database design and multiple programming languages.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, develop and deploySpring and Hibernatebased applications with
a focus on high availability, low latency.
Working on technical issues including software system design and
maintenance.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Strong coding and debugging skills with experience in web technologies
including one or more of the following: Java, Javascript ( Angular, Node
etc.)
Working experience with SQL and NoSql Databases(Postgresql/MySQL
MongoDB, Reddis) and json parsing
Familiar with MVC and ORM frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
Familiarity with Linux based OS and their workaround (Centos preferred).
Hands on Experience with scripting in python and js.
Design, develop, install, test and maintain data integrations from a variety
of formats including files, database extracts(SQL & NoSQL) and external
APIs into data stores using ETL tools, techniques and programming
languages like Python,SQL, etc.
Strong experience in Data Pipeline and Workflow Management Tools
Development of custom API's for inbound/outbound data integrations
Experience profiling data, summarizing and reporting data quality metrics
Build reports in visualization and business intelligence tools (PowerBI,
Tableau, etc.) - Good to have
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and
disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and
accuracy
Experience manipulating data using scripting languages and/or data
processing software (e.g. Python, R, Pipeline Pilot, ETL applications)
Data pipeline design, build, optimization, automation & re-engineering
Demonstrated understanding of data architecture and modeling.
Demonstrated understanding Batch processing, stream processing and
message queuing systems
Superficial experience Structured, Un-structured data
Experience with UNIX shell scripting Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility
to quickly adapt to ever-evolving business needs.
Must be able to communicate complex issues in a crisp and concise
fashion to multiple levels of management.
