Sr IT Manager Enterprise Datawarehouse & Analytics

The Sr IT Manager leads the Enterprise Datawarehouse function for Honeywell. This role is responsible for Analytics Solution Architecture, design, implementation and deployment of EDW & related programs within the Analytics domain, interpreting the organizations objectives and the enterprise context into standards and usage guidelines. This role serves as the focal toliaison with Business and IT leadership, internal customers, business teams, and Enterprise Architecture teams across the enterprise to meet the specific needs of the function and business. You will be a key member of the leadership team, engaging in all aspects of running the data warehousing analytics services, with a specialization in the use of technology to fulfill business objectives

This position will lead the solution architecture and engineering teams delivering on conceptual design of projects in line with the Enterprise architecture standards and guidelines. The role involves partnership with key stakeholders and is responsible for understanding their environment with its opportunities and challenges, and working to identify and drive contemporary, best-in-class solutions for Honeywell.

Build and lead an advanced enterprise analytics solution architecture and engineering team.

Lead the solution architecture and enabling technologies strategy for the Analytics team. Evangelize and drive alignment on the adoption and realization of the strategy.

Partner with business alignment team and business leaders on all initiatives in the domain.

Provide thought leadership and act as the trusted technical adviser to the business and technology leadership team.

Demonstrate deep understanding of critical business issues and requirements and recommending IT solutions that provide competitive advantage.

Assure IT solutions for the business provide an exceptional user experience, while being compliant and cyber-safe.

Build a team of business champions in enabling a data-oriented decision-making culture and iteratively work with them in adopting the insights and analytics.

Advise and provide strategic direction to the program and project managers implementing data Integrations, datawarehouse solutions

Support the prioritization, approval, funding, resource management and deployment of programs and new technologies for enterprise datawarehouse & analytics. Participate in core business planning activities, including Strategic Planning (Functional Update) and Annual Operating Plan.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelors degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering

12+ years of experience in Information Technology

6-8 years of experience leading analytics teams working within Data Architecture and Data Warehousing domain

WE VALUE

Strong technology experience, preferably past delivery lead role experience of multiple technologies including but not limited to SAP Hana, SAP BI, Data Integration, common knowledge of security application and data security, and data architectures

Exposure to various aspects of architecture practices: business, application, data, security, infrastructure and governance, working knowledge of architecture frameworks

Proven track record of driving and leading large-scale architectural or delivery projects throughout an entire business through to completion.

Experience in big data technologies

SAP ERP, HANA platform, SAP Cloud & Tableau reporting experience highly desired

Cloud platforms experience preferred (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Pivotal, etc)

Experience leveraging Hadoop, Snowflake

Excellent leadership communication and executive presence

Understanding of key information technology solutions and practices

Strong business acumen and ability to translate new technology into business value

Creation of result-oriented Management Operating System

Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems

Creative and collaborative problem-solving capability
