Job Summary

MISSION


You would be responsible for building a strong team and ensuring that the environment is a reflection of the company s values and culture.

You will work with the founding team and heads of business units to drive collective goals ensuring that the existing team is in its highest effectiveness.

You will also bring together cross-functional teams using strong leadership skills to build HyperVerge as a happy place to work.

OUTCOMES EXPECTED

Onboarding

  • Within the first 2 months, create, implement and set up processes to manage the onboarding processes for every new hire to align with company values and culture.

  • Make every new hire feel welcomed, cared for and comfortable at HyperVerge, enabling them to do at their best personally and professionally.


Compensation, Appraisal and Benefits

  • Over a 6-month cycle, setup processes to determine a competitive compensation plan for the new and the existing team.

  • Champion the design and administration of benefits programs to create a positive workplace that ensures employee well-being before businesses such as but not limited to life, health insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.


Employee Redressal

  • Within 6 months, set up systems for effective redressal of inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee related issues.


HR Management

  • Serve as a consultant in strategic and tactical approaches in all HR areas.

  • Within 6 months set up and manage all facets of HR Operations including payroll processing, policy development, and compliance management.

  • To the best extent possible maintain zero attrition, in case of employee exits follow appropriate protocol to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.

  • Own and manage the P&L for human resources operations.


Performance Reviews

  • Within 3 months, implement systems to conduct periodic performance reviews and proactively ensure the highest level of effectiveness for individuals across all levels of the organisation.


HRBP

  • Identify, analyse, scale and implement best practices suited for the organisation through effective HR interventions to drive effectiveness across the system.

  • Constructively challenge leadership, employees and HR partners for purposes of improving outcomes or processes.

  • Plan and project the team growth requirement. Raise hiring request if the roles need to be brought in from outside.

  • Ensure every member of the team has the steepest learning curve in their area of interest.


Learning and Development

  • Improve leadership capability through identifying and organising 1:1 coaching and/or focused organisational interventions.

  • Effectiveness of the existing team for current roles - Goals setting etc.

  • Effectiveness of the future team by upskilling of the existing team through appropriate means.

  • Be a champion of HyperVerge s core values and have the ability to exercise excellent judgment in all HR and business matters.

  • Help build out programs that support the Talent Acquisition team s initiative to attract the best talent and retain them.

PREREQUISITES

  • 3+ years of proven progressive, successful, operational human resources experience.

  • Experience in a high-tech start-up environment is a plus.

  • International experience or exposure is helpful given the global nature of our customers and employees
